About the Artist

Originally from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Stephanie is a contemporary painter who currently resides in Littleton, Colorado. She is presently working towards the completion of her Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting at Metropolitan State University of Denver, to be completed in 2025. Themes of identity, religion, and social issues serve as the creative catalysts for her artwork. One of her main influences is Carlos Jacanamijoy, a Colombian artist who uses his work to formulate a dialogue between Western and indigenous cultures.  Blanco’s artistic journey is guided by a deep respect for the complexity of the individual. Exhibitions include ACC Fine Art Digital Student Exhibition, ACC Fine Art Student Exhibition,  ACC Student Mural Project, and “Shared Visions” Colorado Gallery for the Arts, all located in Colorado.
